Winter fun in Iasi, Romania

Just wanted to share with you a short trip I took with a few friends.

The route is located near my town, Iasi (Romania) and is actually used also as a rally stage: The rally of Iasi - Dobrovat special.

And of course, the much needed refill and snow removal from the front bumper :D

Thank you for your sharing photos you took in your country. I'm interested in how popular Subaru is there. And I expect that there will be offline meetings across boaders someday^^

Definitely not as popular as in Japan. In Romania, you will see mostly German cars and our national car, Dacia. See below a chart showing car sales by brand in 2022. Unfortunately, Subaru has a low sales count and it is not included in this statistic.

Our Subaru Fan club has around 4000 members and the biggest Subaru Facebook group has around 4500 members.

There are yearly meetings around country in different locations. Last year I joined them in a trip around Targu Secuiesc where is hosted the Covasna Winter Rally. We actually followed the route used in the rally stage through the forest, on gravel covered with snow. There were around 30 cars, including Forester, Outback, XV. We even had a GC8 and a Baja with us. Me and a friend with BRZ were the cars with the lowest ground clearance, but we made it through the top successfully.

Just let me know if YouTube links are allowed here and I will share with you a short movie to highlight that trip.

When the next meeting will take place, I will definitely share here photos :D

I got it. It's almost the same as I predicted. But the standing position of Subaru as not the biggest maker is good points in my opinion. I mean especially people who love cars choose this maker , which is one of personalities of it.
I'm glad to hear that there are kind of meetings in your country as well. Plz share these next time when you join that^^

If you were wondering, the end of the video shows a bear with a cub.

I watched the video.
It looks cold with snow, but you all look so passionate in your hearts!

It's very interesting to see a father dressed like a bear with his child on his shoulder watching the bear and his cub :D

Thank you also for the instructions.
As for the "suubie", it is identical to Japanese language: "subarist". I wouldn't call it a real word, but a slang.
